One transparent rate card across the practice - published day rates, packaged engagements, and project pricing to fit the work.
Open Digital operates one rate card across both practices - Advisory and Business. Rates are published so that expectations are clear before the first conversation.
Day rates
- Senior consultant
- £2,500 / €2,500 per day. This is the rate for strategic advisory, business engineering, project direction, and architecture work led by our senior consultants - the same rate whichever side of the practice the engagement sits on.
Additional roles are engaged as the work requires, at rates reflecting the role: software development, consulting, research, and business administration. Rates for these roles are provided with the engagement proposal, so a blended team is always priced transparently before work begins.
Packaged engagements
- Analysis workshop
- £615 / €615 for a two-hour facilitated session to crystallise the business need, map the territory, and identify priorities. It stands alone as a decision-making tool or leads into a larger engagement. This is the usual starting point for business systems work.
- Project and activity packages
- Defined pieces of work - implementations, reviews, recovery engagements, prototypes - are priced per project with clear deliverables, scaled to scope and complexity. Ongoing engagements benefit from continuity pricing.
Pro bono
The practice provides selective pro bono support to foundations and not-for-profit organisations, reflecting our commitment to the open source commons - including foundation governance at The Perl and Raku Foundation, governance work within the Odoo Community Association, and support for OpenUK.
